Degradation and water absorption prevention agent "Hydroproof HT-SP"

The dry components are protected from oil and grease! Water resistance and weather resistance are also improved by the addition of metal oxides.

"Hydroproof HT-SP" is an inorganic penetration and reactive deterioration and water absorption prevention agent. The sodium silicate in this product penetrates the substrate and, through hydrolysis, exhibits strong alkalinity, while the dried components protect against oil and grease. Additionally, after sufficient drying, the adhesion of topcoats such as water-based paints, oil-based paints, and asphalt is improved, enhancing their bonding strength. Particularly, the addition of metal oxides (lithium silicate) also improves water resistance and weather resistance. [Features] - If fine cracks occur in the surface or intermediate layers, the components react with moisture to proliferate in a gel-like form, preventing moisture intrusion into the structure. - When applied to concrete and mortar surfaces, it deeply penetrates into capillary voids and chemically reacts with the internal free alkalis. - The products formed by reacting with calcium salts dissolved in moisture moving through the aggregates change into hydrophobic substances, preventing and suppressing efflorescence. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
